Six months ago, our family launched Freedom Families Foundation with a simple mission: helping military families overcome the financial barriers to adoption.
Since then, we have reached out to more than 60 companies, engaged with representatives from multiple military branches, contacted congressional offices, and begun building relationships with adoption advocates across the country. We are encouraged by the support and interest we have received as we continue laying the foundation for future adoption grants.
One of the most significant milestones has been receiving recognition as a Section 501(c)(3) public charity, allowing contributions to be tax-deductible and positioning the Foundation for future growth.
While there is still much work ahead, we remain committed to our vision that no qualified military family should be prevented from adopting because of financial barriers.
